Sierra de las Quijadas National Park Trip
We will pick you up at your hotel in Potrero de los Funes at the time of your choice and, from there, we will move to one of the most beautiful natural areas in the province of San Luis: the Sierra de las Quijadas National Park.
We'll head off on a trekking route through the Sierra de las Quijadas. On this 90 minute hike of medium difficulty, we'll see different traces of the indigenous cultures that inhabited this part of South America.
During the route, we will also see the archaeological sites of the area, where local paleontologists have found numerous dinosaur remains. The star fossils here are those of pterosaurs, a large flying prehistoric animal.
We will also stop at the different viewpoints of the Sierra de las Quijadas, from which we will see the plateaus, pockets, cliffs, and other natural elements of the National Park. While we admire these landscapes we will also talk about the native fauna, which stands out for its great diversity of grey foxes, maras, and other species.
At the end of the trekking route through the Sierra de las Quijadas National Park, we will take you back to your hotel in Potrero de los Funes. Arrival is scheduled six hours after pick up.
