Posadas Tour & Birdwatching
Posadas Tour & Birdwatching
At your chosen time, we'll set off from your hotel on our sightseeing tour of Posadas.
The tour of this beautiful Argentinean city, which is the capital of the province of Misiones, will begin along the Acceso Sur area and the Avenida Costanera. This long promenade is located on the banks of the Paraná River, which marks the border between Argentina and Paraguay. These two countries are connected by the great San Roque González International Bridge.
Next, our tour will take us to Plaza 9 de Julio where the Government House and the Cathedral of San José are located. Our route will then continue through the northern part of the city so we can see the Republic of Paraguay Park and the Manuel Antonio Ramirez Amphitheatre. We'll also visit the most beautiful parts of the Costanera, such as Posadas' old train station.
While we're on the Costanera, we'll see the largest pencil-drawn mural in the world. Afterwards, we'll head to the Arroyo Itá Nature Reserve, a green space spanning 2 hectares where we'll go on a birdwatching tour.
In this reserve, where up to 170 different species of birds have been catalogued, we'll see blue herons, scarlet flycatchers and limpkins. This natural area is also home to numerous fish such as mojarras and shads, and mammals such as otters and capybaras.
After 3 hours of fun, we'll take you back to your hotel in Posadas.
