At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Posadas to head to the International Train Station in this town in Argentina.
Here, we'll board a train to cross the Paraná River to the Paraguayan town of Encarnación. A vehicle will be waiting for us at this station to take us to the ancient ruins of the Jesuit Missionary of La Santísima Trinidad del Paraná.
At this World Heritage Site, we'll enjoy a guided tour to learn about its baroque architecture. We'll the remains of its square and the Iglesia Mayor church. Plus, along the way we'll tell you all about the legacy that the Jesuits left in this area of South America.
After visiting La Santísima Trinidad del Paraná, we'll head north to visit the ruins of the Missionary of Jesús de Tavarangüé. At this spot, another World Heritage Site, we'll uncover the work of the missionaries in the Guarani lands during the 17th and 18th centuries.
At the end of the guided tour, you can have lunch at your own expense in the town of Jesús de Tavarangüe.
In the afternoon, we'll meet back up in the centre of the town to take you back to Encarnación, where we'll catch a return train to Argentina. Once at Posadas station once more, we'll take you back to your hotel, arriving around 12 hours after initial pickup.
