With the largest glass floor in Europe, the Spinnaker Tower has not only come to be known as an icon of the city of Portsmouth, but also as a world-renowned observation tower.

It boasts three viewing decks that you can visit in any order and as many times as you'd like throughout the day. The glass floors of the Sky Walk allow the daring amongst you to have thrilling views over Portsmouth's historic harbour, which is located directly underneath the tower, and complete the incredible 360-degree views over the city.

The tower offers breathtaking 23-mile views over the city, the Solent, the South Downs and as far as the Isle of Wight. What's more, the highest view deck, the Sky Garden, is open to the elements, allowing you to feel the sea breeze as you marvel at the panoramic vistas of Portsmouth and beyond. At this height, and especially in high winds, you can truly appreciate the structure as a magnificent feat of engineering.

Opening times

The Spinnaker Tower's opening hours are as follows:

• Monday to Thursday: from 10:30 am to 6 pm.
• Friday to Sunday: from 10 am to 6 pm.
