Parenzana Trail Bike Tour

At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Portorož and drive by minibus to Koper, where we'll start this fun bike tour along the famous Parenzana Trail, also called the Route of Peace and Friendship.

The Parenzana Trail is one of the most beautiful cycling routes in Europe, as it crosses the landscapes of the Istrian peninsula. Did you know that it connects Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy? You'll learn all the secrets of this route, created to promote trade between the different countries.

We'll make a stop to rest in Izola, a coastal town with stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. We'll take a guided tour of Izola to see the town's most outstanding monuments, including the port and the St Maurus Parish Church.

We'll return to our bicycles and continue along the Parenzana Trail, passing a salt evaporation pond, where we'll discover the importance of this product for the Slovenian economy. Another highlight of the tour will be riding through one of the route's many tunnels.

At the end of the tour, we'll renew our energy with a delicious lunch and wine at a local restaurant. We'll then get back on our bikes and return to the starting point.

Arrival back in Portorož will be at approximately 2 pm.
