Istria Food Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Portoroz at 9 am and start this tour in search of the delicious flavours of the Istrian peninsula.
The first destination of the day will be Hum. Did you know that it is the smallest city in the world? We'll go into this town located in the heart of Istria and explore its streets in search of biska, a typical brandy made with spices. It's only made in Hum!
We'll continue travelling through Istria until we reach Motovun. This famous medieval town has monuments of great beauty, such as the bell tower of St. Stephen's Church. Besides walking its cobbled streets, we will discover one of the best-kept secrets of Motovun, the white truffle.
To enjoy its incredible flavour, we'll go to a local restaurant where they'll teach us how to prepare a dish with typical products that we'll be able to taste later on. The truffle and the wine won't be missing!
Finally, we'll go to Grožnjan, a beautiful village where the wine and olive industry stands out. Moreover, Groznjan has a large number of art galleries, which will surprise you!
We'll be back in Portorož at about 5 pm.
