Ljubljana Guided Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Portoroz at 9 am and travel to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. After an hour and a half drive, we'll reach our destination and start a guided tour to get to know the best of the city.
The tour will start by visiting the old town, passing by such important and historical places as the Triple Bridge, Preseren Square, St. Nicholas Cathedral and the City Hall - Ljubljana's past is fascinating!
We'll follow the guided tour by crossing the Dragon Bridge, the undisputed symbol of the city. But why are the dragons so representative? We'll tell you this and many other legends of Ljubljana as we continue walking through the streets.
After crossing this viaduct, we'll approach the funicular station that will take us to the hill on which Ljubljana Castle is located. During the journey, you'll have an unforgettable view of the capital, and you'll certainly not stop taking pictures! When we reach the highest point, we'll take a tour of the fortress, getting to know the history of the first settlements in the city and going back to the Bronze Age!
We'll take the funicular again and get on the bus that will take us to Portoroz. The arrival is scheduled for 4 pm.
