On this tour we'll get to know the history of Port wine, from its origin in the vineyards of the Douro Valley, visiting several wineries and trying their wines.

Douro Valley Tour

After meeting at San Bento railway station, we'll make our way eastwards, towards the Douro wine-producing region.

The first stop is in Pinhão, a small Portuguese located on the confluence of the Douro and Tedo rivers and home to a large number of wineries. Here, we'll enjoy the region's star product: wine. As well as the wine, we'll also be treated to a delicious traditional lunch of Portuguese delicacies. So that you can fully enjoy this traditional lunch, please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.

After eating, we'll embark on a relaxing cruise along the river, enjoying the spectacular views of the valley, before heading to one of the region's most important wineries where you'll taste fine Port wines.

Finally, we'll say goodbye at Rua de Alexandre Herculano after 10 hours in total.

Tour foi ótimo, motorista Paulo e o Guia turístico Jonathan excelentes, Vale do Douro magnífico, entretanto, a primeira Quinta deixou a desejar, almoço muito ruim ( pouca comida e mal preparada ) minha esposa achou cabelo no prato . Agora na segunda Quinta, na degustação de vinhos faltou colocar água e queijos. O que salvou o tour foi os serviços do motorista e do Guia turístico, e também o Vale do Douro. The tour was great, the driver Paulo and the tour guide Jonathan were excellent, the Douro Valley was magnificent, however, the first Quinta left something to be desired, the lunch was very bad (little food and poorly prepared) and my wife found hair on her plate. Now on the second Quinta, during the wine tasting, they forgot to put water and cheese. What saved the tour was the services of the driver and the tour guide, and also the Douro Valley. We loved it; it was a very comprehensive excursion. We had David Barbosa as our guide, and he was super friendly. We really enjoyed his explanations and commentary throughout the trip.
