Tour Options

When booking your jeep tour around Porto, you can choose between three different routes around the city. All tours will depart at the time of your choice from Rua de Dom Hugo s/n, at the Porto Cathedral side.

All three tours include an English-speaking guide, who will be the person in charge of driving the jeep, so you won't have to worry about anything. Moreover, in all the routes, we'll make a stop at a local restaurant in Porto or its surroundings, where adults will enjoy a glass of Porto wine accompanied by local snacks.

Foz, Matosinhos + Porto Tour (2 to 3 Hours)

From Porto Cathedral, we'll drive by jeep to the picturesque neighbourhood of Ribeira. From there, we'll follow the course of the Douro River to the beautiful coastal town of Foz do Douro, where we'll see the mouth of the river.

We'll continue the route by jeep to another beautiful coastal town called Matosinhos. After making our way through its picturesque streets, we'll pass by the Castelo do Queijo and return to the banks of the Douro River by taking the Ponte da Arrábida path.

After crossing this bridge, we'll cross the town of Afurada until we reach the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, where we'll see the Serra do Pilar monastery from the outside. From there, we'll cross the Douro through the Infante Dom Henrique Bridge until we reach the centre of Porto.

From the jeep, you'll see emblematic places of the old city centre such as Batalha Square, the Avenida dos Aliados or the Clérigos Tower. Finally, after a 2 to 3-hour jeep tour, we'll return to the meeting point.

Moinhos de Jancido + Monte Crasto Tour (4 Hours)

In this case, we'll depart from Porto Cathedral to the river beach of Marecos. From this point, located on the banks of the Douro, we'll continue by jeep along the banks of the river until we reach the Zebreiros river beach.

Following the course of the Douro, we'll reach the Crestuma–Lever Dam. Very close to this reservoir, we'll see the famous Moinhos de Jancido, a well-known group of watermills located in picturesque paths along the river bank.

Finally, we'll enjoy the views of the Douro riverbed offered by Monte Crasto. From there, we'll drive back to the meeting point, where we'll conclude this 4-hour tour.

North Coast Tour (7 Hours)

After leaving the Cathedral behind, we'll drive by jeep to one of the most beautiful areas in the vicinity of the city: the North Coast of Porto.

We'll first pass through Foz do Douro and Matosinhos. From there, we'll follow the route by jeep to the Mindelo Ornithological Reserve, a large protected area where we'll see a wide variety of herons, corujas and other birds.

Finally, we'll cross two picturesque towns on the North Coast of Porto: Vila do Conde and Póvoa de Varzim. From there, we'll return to the meeting point, where this 7-hour route will end.
