Porto Six Bridges Cruise with Lunch

  • 227 reviews | 2,580 travellers
We put it excellent in the sense that the activity was very good, circuit, pace in terms of speed to enjoy the course. The meal was very good and as ordered, the service was good, we were next to a Portuguese couple, we spoke in English, it was very nice, One major point to improve is the signage on the platform , nothing indicates that we are in the right place, all the people bothered the traders for the information, thank you please

Porto Six Bridges Cruise with Lunch

The cruise will depart from the Freixo Bridge, the first of the magnificent bridges we'll pass through on this river tour. Get ready to enjoy some of the best views of the city from the water!

We'll cruise along the Douro River enjoying the beauty of Porto, with its characteristic buildings and lively riverbanks. We'll pass under Ponte de São João, a bridge exclusively for trains, and the Maria Pia Bridge. Fun fact: Théophile Seyrig, the engineer who designed the latter, was an associate of none other than Gustave Eiffel!

And what better than a delicious meal to accompany this pleasant boat ride? On this cruise, you'll enjoy a three-course meal, including codfish, one of the country's most typical dishes, as we sail the Douro and admire the city's six bridges.

After seeing the Infante Bridge, the city's most modern bridge built in 2003, we'll arrive at one of the main attractions of this Portuguese city: the Luís I Bridge. This spectacular steel structure is undoubtedly a symbol of Porto and one of its most visited places.

During the ride down the Douro, we'll also pass by the Ribeira district, the Monastery of Serra do Pilar, and the district of Vila Nova de Gaia and its renowned wineries. Continuing undr the Arrábida Bridge we'll head to Foz do Douro, where the river flows into the Atlantic Ocean.

This point will mark where the cruise turns around to head back to Freixo Bridge, where the tour ends after two hours.
