Six Bridges Cruise

During the cruise of the six bridges, we'll sail along the Douro from the Dom Luis I Bridge and the Arrábida Bridge to the Freixo Bridge, located at the eastern end of Porto.

As well as the aforementioned, we'll cross the Infante Don Enrique Bridge (built in 2003), the Maria Pia Bridge (designed by Gustave Eiffel's partner Théophile Seyrig in 1873) and the Sao Joao Bridge (for trains only).

And more than just bridges, during the cruise you can also enjoy the best views of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, where the most famous wineries in Porto can be found. And of course, the cruise takes place on a traditional Rabelo boat, with which the barrels were transported from the vineyards of the valley to the Gaia wineries.

At the end of the 50-minute trip on the Douro, we'll return to the starting point.

El crucero es una actividad imprescindible si visitas Oporto. El paseo por el río es precioso, y está muy bien organizado. Sólo un apunte (para la gente que no lee la información que recibe, y luego critican por desconocimiento): el BONO de CIVITATIS hay que llevarlo IMPRESO (en el resto de Freetours no hace falta pero aquí SI) y presentarlo PREVIAMENTE en la carpa que hay en el muelle donde te lo canjean por TICKETS para poder acceder al barco. Es un paseo ameno por el río Douro. IMPORTANTE, se ha de validar el ticket en los estatntes de la empresa antes de dirigirte a la cola de donde zarpa el bote (yo tenia gente delante que no lo hicieron y perdieron su puesto por esto). Paseo de 50 min aprox rio arriba y luego rio abajo con explicación de las cosas importantes en 4 idiomas. Conciso. Se ven los 6 puentes del Douro. A mi me gusto mucho. No es un imprescindible de Oporto pero si tienes tiempo esta muy bien. Recomiendo hacerlo al final Translate this opinion into English.

It is a pleasant walk along the Douro River. IMPORTANT, you have to validate the ticket at the company's stands before going to the queue where the boat leaves (I had people in front of me who didn't do it and lost their place because of this). A walk of approximately 50 minutes up the river and then down the river with explanations of the important things in 4 languages. Concise. You can see the 6 bridges of the Douro. I really liked it. A la hora que lo hicimos en noviembre (16:30) cuadra con el atardecer y es bastante.bonito. lo mejor del tour fue esto. No aporta mucha información y si no tienes mucho tiempo en la ciudad bastante prescidinble. Te da una visión desde el río pero no muy diferente a cruzar s Vilanova de Gaia y pasear por su puerto. At the time we did it in November (16:30) it was right at sunset and it was quite pretty. The best part of the tour was this. It doesn't provide much information and if you don't have much time in the city it's pretty dispensable. El crucero nos gustó, excepto la traducción a varios idiomas de las explicaciones. El españo era el último y cuando llegaba la explicación había pasado el monumento, edificio o puente al que mirar. We liked the cruise, except for the explanations being translated into several languages. The Spanish one was the last one and when the explanation arrived, the monument, building or bridge to look at had already passed.
