Sail the river Douro and discover the capital of wine and vineyards, with this Régua Day Cruise. To get the most out of the local landscapes we'll return to Porto by train, getting a taste of a different point of view.
Day Cruise Details
The cruise leaves from the Cais da Estiva dock, in Ribeira, Oporto. Whilst we leave the centre of Porto behind, we'll serve breakfast.
Passing through the Douro Valley and enjoying the incredible views of the vineyards and wineries of the area. We'll arrive at the Crestuma-Lever Dam, with a lock that takes you down 14 metres. You'll be able to discover many interesting facts about the various places you'll be visiting by listening to the audio guide included in the tour.
At midday, we'll serve lunch, which will consist of traditional Portuguese dishes, accompanied by water, soft drinks and wine.
Our route will continue to the Carrapatelo Dam - even more impressive than the last one, with a 35-metre drop. We'll arrive in Régua at 3:45 pm, where you'll have free time to pass through its streets and discover some of the gastronomic jewels the region has to offer.
After the visit, we'll take a bus back, arriving at Luiz I Bridge, in Vila Nova de Gaia, after 10.5 hours.
