Best of Porto Alegre Tour
After picking you up at your hotel in Porto Alegre at 9:30 am, we'll embark on a route to discover the main charms of this city, combining walking tours with routes on board the minibus. Off we go!
We'll first visit the Moinhos de Vento neighborhood, where Dmae Park is located. This is where the city's waters are treated, but its interest lies in its aesthetics, reminiscent of the Palace of Versailles. You're sure to love strolling through its gardens!
We'll continue the tour exploring the district of Cidade Baixa, famous for its bars and for being a favorite of the young and bohemian scene of Porto Alegre. Nearby we'll find Farroupilha Park, also called Parque da Redenção, where locals often spend hours together drinking mate.
Then, we'll take a break and leave you an hour and a half of free time to have lunch before continuing.
Refueled we'll visit the historic center of Porto Alegre. We'll pass by the public market, the municipal library, Plaza Alfândega, and other emblematic places such as the Casa de Cultura Mario Quintana and the São Pedro Theatre. Of course, we'll also admire the exteriors of the Cathedral and Palacio Piratini, the seat of the executive power of Rio Grande do Sul.
The last part of the tour will be dedicated to visiting Cais Embarcadero, a lively area of the capital of Rio Grande do Sul. Here, facing the sea, we'll enjoy an unforgettable sunset - the perfect ending to any day!
We'll finish the Porto Alegre tour at 7 pm, returning to your hotel.
