Description
At 9:30 am, we'll meet outside the Museu do Trabalho (Labor Museum) to start a fun bike tour of Porto Alegre. We'll hop on the bikes and pedal our way through the capital of the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. Let's roll!
The route, 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) long, will take us along the banks of the Guaíba River and the Diluvio stream until we reach the Praia de Belas neighborhood. There, we'll review some of the most fascinating chapters of the life of Antônio Rodrigues de Belas, for whom this neighborhood is named.
Next, we'll ride through the historic center of Porto Alegre until we arrive at Marinha do Brasil Park, a very popular spot among locals, where we'll enjoy the fresh air as we pedal through a peaceful city haven.
We'll continue our bike tour admiring the exterior of the José Pinheiro Borda stadium, better known as Estádio Beira-Rio, home of the Sport Club Internacional soccer team.
Then, at 11:30 am, the bike tour will finish at the Pontal Shopping Center.
