How does going to the highest point in Oregon sound to you? And what if we say that we'll also visit some of the most impressive natural landscapes in Portland? At the time indicated, we'll meet at 523 NE on 19th Avenue and start this Multnomah Falls and Mount Hood Tour.
Once all together, we'll travel by minibus towards Mount Hood, located 90 kilometres (56 miles) from Portland. It's home to waterfalls, glaciers and the historic Timberline Lodge, a building built during the Great Depression and a reference point for skiers in the States. As we continue travelling around its winding roads, we'll learn all about the area's culture. The beautiful landscapes will take your breath away!
Additionally, this tour will take us to one of the most impressive areas in Mount Hood: the Multnomah waterfalls, an enormous fall 189 metres (620 feet) tall. It's one of the most visited falls in Oregon!
Finally, after learning all about Mount Hood, we'll return to the meeting point in Portland after a 9-hour tour. Til next time!
