Description
At the time indicated, we'll meet at Director Park, one of the best places to start this guided tour around Portland. Do you want to enjoy the best views of the "City of Roses"? Let's go!
Once we've met in the heart of the city, we'll board a comfortable minibus and start our route. On this tour, you'll discover the city's best-kept secrets, where the contrast between elegant shops and restaurants and the natural beauty of Forest Park intrigue everyone who visits the city.
Then, we'll stop near the Pittock mansion, an impressive house from 1914 with an extremely interesting history. Did you know that it's owned by one of Portland's richest families? Additionally, we'll have an incredible view of the Willamette River, the mountains and the city centre.
The next stop will be the International Rose Test Gardens, an enormous garden with other 10000 roses. You'll have plenty of time to explore this beautiful place, founded at the beginning of the 20th century.
We'll continue our tour around the main neighbourhoods in Portland and, of course, learn about the history of the various bridges that cross the river, one of the city's most well-known features. We'll see up to 14 viaducts!
After a 3-hour tour, we'll return to the initial meeting point. See you again soon!
