Portimão Food Tour

At 11:30 am on the day of the tour, we will meet in Praça Manuel Teixeira Gomes, in front of Casa Inglesa Café. Once the group has arrived, we'll jump right into this tasty tour of one of the most popular European cuisines: the flavors of Portugal.

We'll start the tour off by exploring the historic center of Portimão and its most emblematic monuments, giving you a local's perspective of this charming coastal city.

Together we'll discover the decadence of Portimão through the local fare, stopping at some of the most renowned bars in the city and the municipal market. The perfect way to get an authentic taste of Portuguese gastronomy!

Over the course of the tour, you'll sample a rissole, a fried pastry filled with meat or fish, an empada, another treat with a savory filling, a portimonense, a typical local dessert, as well as the famous pastéis de nata! Hungry yet?

After a morning experiencing some of the best local cuisine, the tour will come to an end.
