Feel like a real buccaneer on this pirate ship ride through the caves of Benagil. Have an adventure on a galleon and enjoy the rugged scenery of the Algarve coastline.

Benagil Caves Pirate Cruise

At 2:30 pm, we'll meet at the Vasco da Gama pier in Portimão to board an authentic pirate ship and start sailing along the Algarve coastline. The perfect tour if you want to feel like you're immersed in an adventure film!

After boarding the galleon, we'll sail along the coast of the Arade River as we make our way to the open sea. Onboard the ship, you'll be able to see medieval castles, riverside landscapes and the Atlantic in the background.

Sailing east, we'll pass by Carvoeiro, where you'll be able to see the famous Algar Seco caves. Our pirate ship will then take us to the Alfanzina Lighthouse, where we'll head inside the Benagil Caves onboard the boat.

On the return trip, if you keep your eyes peeled, you may even see dolphins swimming alongside the pirate ship!

After three hours of enjoying this paradise along Portuguese coast, we'll return to the Vasco da Gama pier in Portimão.

Experiencia 100% recomendable. 3 horas que se hicieron cortas. El barco tiene 2 baños y un pequeño bar. La tripulación es una maravilla, muy atentos, sobre todo con los niños. Te ofrecían chaquetas y mantas. Yo lo hice con mi hija de 2 años y otro de 2 meses. Cuando bajamos a los botes nos ayudaron en todo momento. Yo iba porteando al peque y no tuve problemas en subirme al bote. Explicaron las cosas en portugués, español e inglés. Además, ¡tuvimos suerte y vimos delfines! Repetiría sin duda. 100% recommended experience. 3 hours that seemed short. The boat has 2 bathrooms and a small bar. The crew is wonderful, very attentive, especially with the children. They offered you jackets and blankets. I did it with my 2-year-old daughter and another 2-month-old. When we got off the boats they helped us at all times. I was carrying the little one and I had no problems getting on the boat. They explained things in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Also, we were lucky and saw dolphins! Fantástica la experiencia!!! Fuimos en familia. Mis niños de 17 y 15 años. En las barcas hacia las cuevas, mis hijos disfrutaron mucho, yo sentí un poco de miedo, subidón de adrenalina , pero los conductores controlan perfectamente. Son muy profesionales. Al volver de las barcas , sentimos un poco de mareo. Si alguien es propenso a marearse, mejor ir preparado. Pero la experiencia es de 10, para no perdérsela. Translate this opinion into English.

Fantastic experience!!! We went as a family. My children are 17 and 15 years old. On the boats to the caves, my children enjoyed it a lot. Han jugado con mis hijos de 5 y 10 años mientras esperábamos el regreso de una de las barcas que nos metía, literalmente, dentro de las cuevas. We loved it!!! The crew was very attentive and friendly. They played with my children, aged 5 and 10, while we waited for the return of one of the boats that took us, literally, into the caves.
