Description
Can you imagine a river flowing from the sky? That's the phrase that locals use to refer to the Avocat Waterfalls. A waterfall that flows between golden rocks and dense vegetation. Amazing!
At the scheduled time we'll collect you from your chosen hotel to begin our trip towards Avocat. It'll be a route of around 47 kilometres (29 miles) that will leave you stunned by the green landscapes of the jungle. You'll enjoy the journey as much as the destination!
Once there, we'll begin our journey on the trail by following the course of the river. Lace up! Throughout the hike, we'll be surrounded by an exotic jungle, and we'll see the treetops full of white and green lilies.
The sound of the waterfall and the refreshing breeze of the falls will be signs that we'll have almost arrived. Once we reach the Avocat Waterfalls, you'll be able to take a well-deserved dip and enjoy standing behind the curtain of water.
After enjoying this tropical location, we'll make our way back towards Port of Spain and stop at Maracas Beach. At this popular cove, we'll discover this very Caribbean setting with its palm trees, turquoise waters and soft sand.
We'll begin our return journey after a break at the beach and bring this trip to an end after 8 hours back at Port of Spain.
