Beginners Scuba Diving in Port d'Addaia
Beginners Scuba Diving in Port d'Addaia
We'll meet at the dive centre in the commercial zone of Port d'Addaia. We'll start the activity with a briefing on the basics of scuba diving and get familiar with the equipment.
After our lesson on scuba diving, you'll be given a wetsuit, booties, mask and fins and we'll head down to the port, where a boat will be waiting to take us to our chosen diving area off the coast of northern Menorca.
Once we're kitted out with our equipment, we'll jump into the water and begin our dive, going to a maximum depth of 12 metres. You'll soon get accustomed to breathing through a regulator and it'll feel natural in no time.
For approximately 45 minutes, depending on your oxygen consumption, you'll get to explore the sea surrounding the island of Menorca. Keep your eyes peeled for the marine wildlife that inhabits the area! We'll dive around the fields of seagrass, home to a great variety of fish including groupers, mullets, and many more amazing creatures.
At the end of the dive, we'll get back on the boat and take you back to the dive centre in Port d'Addaia, where the activity will end 2.5 hours later.
Important
After the last dive, you must wait at least 12 hours before boarding a plane or going to high altitude areas.
Please note that there will be days when we won't travel by boat, but will stay on the shore. This will depend on the tides on the day of the activity.
