Pontevedra Tour + Vigo Christmas Lights
Description
After meeting at the meeting point at the indicated time, we'll start a tour around Pontevedra, a city that in recent years has received countless international awards. Let's find out why!
We'll start a guided tour of the old town of Pontevedra, where we'll pass through the cobbled streets of the Plazas de La Verdura, La Leña, La Herrería, and La Peregrina. We'll also walk along part of the Portuguese way of the Camino de Santiago. Along the way, we'll stop at the town's main monuments, such as the Iglesia de Santa María church, the Convent of San Francisco, and the Capilla de la Peregrina chapel. Did you know that the latter has a floor in the shape of a scallop shell?
After the tour of Pontevedra, we'll set off on a trip to Moaña, a fishing village nestled in the Ría de Vigo. There we'll take a boat to Vigo. During the boat ride, we'll see the Cíes Islands and the village of Cangas.
Once on dry land, we'll head for the historic centre of Vigo. There, we'll immerse ourselves in the streets of a city born from its connection with the port. We'll walk to the Calle Príncipe, where we'll give you 4 hours of free time to stroll around and see the Christmas lights of Vigo. Trees, giant baubles, recreations of Lapland, Christmas markets, and more await you! Immerse yourself in the magic of Vigo!
Finally, we'll meet at the port of Vigo to take the boat back, and then transport from Moaña to Pontevedra or Santiago de Compostela. Arrival is scheduled between 8 and 9 hours later.
