An unforgettable experience. Inés, our instructor, was very pleasant and attentive. She spoke to us in English since there were people who did not know Spanish, but she was always concerned about whether we had understood everything. There were 8 of us on the zodiac. We did 2 dives (the ones that are planned). We managed to see a group of dolphins on both dives. They were concerned about whether we had managed to see the dolphins, so that in case we hadn't, we could do another dive. 100% recommended.

Description

After meeting at the port of Sao Miguel, our professional instructor will give us a short informative talk with advice about how to enjoy swimming with dolphins in a safe way, respecting their living space. From there, we'll get prepared and board the boat to take us out into the open ocean; the natural habitat of the dolphins in the Azores.

When reaching our destination, we'll jump into the Atlantic Ocean to enjoy an unforgettable experience alongside these kind mammals, who will wow us with their beauty, elegance, and nobleness.

After swimming with the dolphins, we'll head back to the port of Sao Miguel.

Una experiencia inolvidable. Inés nuestra instructora fue muy agradable y atenta, se comunicó con nosotros en ingles ya que había gente que no sabia español, pero en todo momento se preocupó si habíamos entendido todo. Embarcamos 8 personas en la zodiac. Realizamos 2 inmersiones (las que se contemplan). Conseguimos ver en ambas un grupo de delfines. Se preocuparon de si los habíamos conseguido ver los delfines, para en caso de que no fuese así realizar otra inmersión. 100% recomendable. Translate this opinion into English.

Actividad muy recomendable! La actividad tiene un precio más elevado que los otros tour de solo avistamiento de cetáceos pero para mi gusto merece la pena. La experiencia en la lancha y de nadar en mitad del océano mientras te rodean los delfines es única. Lo normal es hacer dos inmersiones, nosotros tuvimos que hacer cuatro porque en dos de ellas no conseguimos ver delfines. Highly recommended activity! The activity is more expensive than other whale watching tours, but in my opinion it is worth it. The experience of riding the boat and swimming in the middle of the ocean while being surrounded by dolphins is unique. Es verdad que la experiencia es una pasada , pero muy estresante. No te imagines que vas a darte un baño tranquilo con delfines porque no es así , te tiran en medio del océano de 4 en 4 y en gritan diciéndote donde están los delfines y en menos de 2 minutos te están diciendo que subas , te dicen que te aseguran 2 baños e igual 3 y una vez te has bañado 3 veces aunque sobre tiempo te dicen” ale ya os habéis bañado tres veces poneros el chaleco que volvemos” para lo que pagas no me parece bien. It's true that the experience is amazing, but it's very stressful. Don't imagine that you're going to have a quiet swim with dolphins because that's not the case. They throw you into the middle of the ocean 4 by 4 and shout at you where the dolphins are and in less than 2 minutes they're telling you to come up. They tell you that they'll guarantee you 2 swims and maybe 3. And once you've swam 3 times, even though you still have time, they tell you, "Come on, you've swam three times, put on your life jacket and we'll be back." Tardamos nás de 1 hora y media en poder ver a los delfines, pero finalmente vimos dos especies diferentes y pudimos bañaarnos 3 veces. Las dos primeras se veían un poco lejos, pero en em tercer baño pudismos ver cerca de 8 y nadaron cerca de nosotros. La experiencia fue impresionante. Quiero agradecer tanto a Magí como a Pedro (conductor y monitor) que se esperaron a que yo pudoera bañanarme con los delfined, ya que en elos dos primeros intentos no pude verlos. It took us more than 1 hour and a half to see the dolphins, but finally we saw two different species and we were able to swim 3 times. The first two looked a little far away, but in the third swim we could see about 8 and they swam close to us. The experience was impressive.
