Furnas Hot Springs Experience at Night
Furnas Hot Springs Experience at Night
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Ponta Delgada and head to Furnas, a truly enchanting place on the island of São Miguel. The landscapes of the Azores take on a magical allure, especially at night!
Our first stop will be at the fumaroles of Lagoa das Furnas, also known as caldeiras. Ever wondered about the origin of this geothermal process? We'll explore this beautiful location under the stars as we unravel its secrets.
Continuing our night tour, we'll head to Poça da Dona Beija, where you can luxuriate in a soothing bath in its thermal pools, all while basking in the enchanting moonlight! The therapeutic properties of these warm waters offer a unique environment to refresh both body and mind.
After the refreshing swim, we'll enjoy a delightful dinner at a local restaurant. The menu features a drink, a starter, and the delectable Furnas stew as the main course. Cap off your meal with pineapple or queijadas de Vila Franca, a traditional Portuguese sweet, accompanied by coffee or tea.
Then, we'll return to Ponta Delgada, reaching your hotel approximately 5.5-6 hours after our initial pickup.
