Mount Vesuvius Tour

We'll start this tour at the indicated at Porta Marina Superiore, at the entrance to the ruins of Pompeii. From here, we'll head by minibus to Mount Vesuvius. Feeling adventurous?

As we climb, the volcanic landscape will become more and more clear. We'll see the intense colours of the lava formations, ash and pommel stones that battle with the area's vegetation. Did you know that the Romans thought of Vesuvius as the sacred home of Hercules?

Once at the volcano's crater, we'll admire the astonishing landscapes of the Bay of Naples as we hear about the famous eruption from August in the year 79. Plus, we'll learn about the various studies and constant monitoring that takes place in the regions thanks to its passive yet constant activity.

Finally, we'll head back down the volcano and back to the starting point after a total of 3 hours.
