After picking you up at your hotel in Pompeii at the scheduled time, we'll leave for Castellammare di Stabia, where we'll visit one of the most important archaeological sites in Italy: the Villas of Stabiae.
Once we arrive at our destination, we'll explore the remains of the ancient Roman city of the same name. With the help of an expert guide, you'll visit Villa Arianna, the oldest villa d'otium in Stabia. This opulent villa, dating back to the 2nd century BC, is located at the west end of Varano Hill and occupies a massive area spanning 11,000 square meters.
As we make our way through the different rooms, you'll be mesmerized by the lavish decorations in the villa, often embellished with beautiful geometric mosaics and frescoes depicting animals and mythological creatures. Truly an immersive Roman cultural experience!
After a morning spent exploring ancient Stabia, we'll take you back to the hotel in Pompeii and the activity will end.
