After being picked up from your hotel in Pokhara on the morning of your tour, you'll be taken to the west of the city in the direction of the hilltop village of Sarangkot.
Following this short journey, you'll arrive at the base of the hill, where you'll begin your guided trek. Your experienced English-speaking guide will take you on a route up to the peak where Sarangkot is located, a hike that takes around three hours. Along the way, you'll discover tiny Nepali settlements and enjoy the awe-inspiring natural scenery of the region.
Having reached the top of the hill - some 5200 feet (1600 m) in height - you'll take a well-deserved break to relax and marvel at the spectacular panoramic views of the Himalayas. The viewpoint offers magnificent vistas of Annapurna and other mountains such as Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, Manaslu and Gangapurna. Well worth the hike!
Take this opportunity to renew your energy with a typical meal in a local cafe (not included) and to learn about the history, culture and traditions of the people who live here.
Next, as if the views could get any better, you'll be able to watch from Sarangkot as the sun sets over the Himalayan mountains. Take in the magical sight, watching as the light fades and illuminates the city of Pokhara and Phewa Lake in shades of orange and red. An unforgettable experience!
Once dusk has drawn in, you'll be driven back to Pokhara, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel.
