Poon Hill & Ghorepani 3 Day Hike
Poon Hill & Ghorepani 3 Day Hike
Day 1: Pokhara - Nayapul - Ulleri
Having picked you up from your hotel in Pokhara, we'll drive to Nayapul. When we get to this village, we'll set off on our hike.
Once we've got everything ready and our permits are all in order, we'll start walking along the course of the Bhurungdi River. We'll walk all the way to the village of Ulleri, where we'll spend the night.
On the way, we'll stop in Tikhedhunga to take a break and to learn more about this small village, which is famous for its yoga retreats.
Day 2: Tikhedung - Ghorepani
After fuelling up for the day with a hearty breakfast, we'll continue towards Ghorepani. We'll be accompanied by breathtaking views during this part of the hike.
As we walk, we'll also admire views of the Machapuchare mountain, the south side of Annapurna and some colourful rhododendrons.
We'll then come to the village of Ghorepani, where we'll spend the night.
Day 3: Ghorepani - Poon Hill - Hille - Pokhara
On our last day, we'll get up before sunrise and head up to Poon Hill. The early start will be well worth it when we reach the top! We'll look out at incredible panoramic views of the mountains around us as the first rays of sunlight begin to stretch across the scenery.
After admiring the sunset, we'll start our descent to Nayapul where the minibus will be waiting to take you back to Pokhara.
