Phewa Lake Boat Trip & Peace Pagoda Hike

After being picked up from your hotel in Pokhara on the morning of your tour, you'll make the short journey to the dock on Phewa Lake.

There, you'll board a boat and set sail on the atmospheric lake, formerly called Baidam Tal, enjoying a cruise lasting one hour. Throughout your boat trip, you'll enjoy incredible panoramic views of the Himalaya mountains, both rising above you and reflected in the crystal-clear water. You'll also see the Hindu Tal Barahi Temple perched upon an island in the middle of the lake.

Following your cruise on Phewa Lake, you'll return to dry land ready for the second part of your tour: hiking to the peak of the hill on which the Shanti Stupa is located. More commonly known as the World Peace Pagoda, this Buddhist temple is located at a height of over 3600 feet (1100 m) atop Anadu Hill, and offers breath-taking views over the valley below. To reach the sacred monument, you'll complete a hiking route of approximately 90 minutes.

Having admired the sanctuary and its spectacular hilltop views, you'll be driven back to Pokhara, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel.
