Rafting on the Tara River
We'll meet at 8 am on Bratstva i Jedinstva Street in Podgorica, where we'll board a minibus and set off towards Šljivansko, the location of our rafting trip.
On the way, we'll make a brief stop to take photos of the stunning Morača Canyon, before reaching our destination. In Šljivansko, we'll get kitted out with all the equipment we need for rafting and have a short introduction on how to paddle the rafts from our English-speaking instructor.
It'll then be time to grab the rafts and get into the water and we'll spend two to three hours paddling down the Tara River. During our rafting trip, we'll navigate our way through exciting white water rapids as well as calmer stretches of water where we can simply enjoy the breathtaking views of the river canyon. A true adventure!
The rafting tour will come to an end at Žugića Luka, where we'll get back onto dry land and renew our energy with a lunch of delicious sandwiches. After eating, you'll have the opportunity to see the Tara River from a new perspective, enjoying a zip line ride next to the famous Đurđevića Tara Bridge. If you'd prefer, you can take the time to walk over the bridge to enjoy the views instead.
Our tour will come to an end back at the original departure point in Podgorica at 6 pm.
