At the indicated time we'll meet at the Casa de Fusta museum and enter this building to begin to learn about the history of one of the most important monuments of the Ebro Delta.
Did you know that fusta means wood in Catalan and that the origins of this place go back to the beginning of the 20th century? During the guided tour of the Casa de Fusta we'll discover all about this building built by a group of hunters who came here attracted by the great birdlife of the Ebro Delta Natural Park.
In fact, the Casa de Fusta now houses an ornithological museum. We'll talk about the different species of birds that inhabit this area and we'll learn why this place is so important for them.
Afterwards, we'll to a short walk around the lagoon, the largest in the Ebro Delta. At the end of the short path, we'll reach a lookout point that offers incredible panoramic views of the surrounding area. It's a perfect place for bird watching!
We'll finish the activity after a total of two hours, back at the starting point.
