We'll pick you up at your hotel first thing in the morning, making our way to the Xcaret park, where you'll have a free day enjoying all its activities.
A number of the wild animals of the Yucatán live in Xcaret: parrots, turtles, manatees, flamencos, tropical fish... there is even the Jaguar Island where you can admire these big cats. And if you're more into flora than fauna, you can visit the living museum of orchids and bromeliads, beautiful and vivid species of flower.
You can also try one of the many shows in Xcaret, based on Mexican traditions declared UNESCO world heritage, such as the mariachi dances, the traditional Pirekua song, or the 'Ceremony of the Flyers' (a traditional rite in which four teenagers climb the trunk of a recently cut tree, throwing themselves from the top suspended by a rope which, wrapped around the top, slowly unravels and lowers them to the ground) showing respect for nature and the spiritual world. And if you're looking for an adrenaline rush, you won't want to miss the water rides, like the rapids.
