Discover why Yucatán's cenotes were sacred places for the Maya on our guided tour of Riviera Maya's cenotes. We'll visit Casa Cenote, Taak Bi Ha, and a private cenote on this unforgettable experience!
Description
We'll pick you up from 7:30 am onwards from your hotel in Tulum or Playa del Carmen and set off on an unforgettable tour of Riviera Maya's cenotes. You'll soon discover why this coastal part of the Yuacatán Peninsula is one of the most dreamlike parts of the Mexican Caribbean!
The first stop will be at the Casa Cenote de Tulum, where you'll have around 45 minutes of free time to swim in this natural pool. Did you know that during the period of the Maya civilization it was considered a sacred place? We'll get here bright and early so we can avoid the large crowds that tend to gather later on.
Our tour will then take us to the Taak Bi Ha Cenote. When we get there, you'll be able to snorkel while exploring this area's fascinating rock formations and limestone landscapes.
Snorkeling is sure to work up an appetite, so we'll have vegetarian picnic lunch. Bon appétit!
After lunch, we'll head to a private cenote nearby so you can soak up the charm of this area surrounded by just the members of the tour group.
Following a dip in the private cenote, we'll return to your hotel. You'll be dropped off between 2 and 3 pm. See you next time!
