We'll meet at the scheduled time at the dive center located at 10 Norte Avenue and 2 Norte Street in Playa del Carmen. Here, we'll get dressed in wetsuits and grab the rest of the diving equipment.
Once prepared we're all set to go, we'll walk over to the pier of Playa del Carmen to get on a speed boat. This boat will take us across the Caribbean Sea to an ideal place to dive. Are you ready? The underwater experience that awaits us will be one of a kind.
From the speedboat, we'll jump into the water and begin our diving activity with bull sharks. From November to the end of February, the females of this species of shark choose the warm waters of the Mexican Caribbean to give birth to their young.
For 30 minutes, we'll enjoy a first dive to a depth of 24 meters (80 feet) to see bull sharks. We'll then return to the boat and sail to another dive site where we'll do a second dive. During this other dive, shorter than the previous one, we'll see a magnificent coral reef.
Afterwards, we'll head back to Playa del Carmen. Once we disembark at the pier, we'll return to the dive center, where we'll arrive three hours after our departure.
Important to Note
To do this activity, it's necessary to have the international Advanced Open Water Diver certificate or similar, which certifies that you're prepared to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters (100 feet).
