Teide National Park Jeep Safari
Teide National Park Jeep Safari
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Playa de las Américas and start making our way up to the Teide National Park in our jeep.
During the tour, we'll travel around in a jeep with a driver who'll act as a guide and tell us lots of fun facts about the different places we visit.
Before we get to the Teide, we'll stop at several viewpoints and visit the towns of Arona and Vilaflor. Did you know that Vilaflor de Chasna is one of the highest villages in Spain?
We'll cross the forest crown, which is full of Canary Island pines, until we get to the Teide National Park. Soon enough, we'll be able to see the silhouette of this incredible 12,188-foot (3,715-metre) high volcano and the sea of clouds that surrounds it. Don't forget your camera!
Next, we'll head to the Roques de García. As we admire these colossal rock formations, we'll discuss the volcanic process that led to the formation of Spain's highest peak. We'll also see Pico Viejo, which is the second highest volcano in Tenerife.
Afterwards, we'll start making our descent through the municipality of Guía de Isora and its beautiful hamlets, such as Chirche and Aripe.
Our jeep safari will come to an end after a total of 5 hours when we drop you back at your hotel in Playa de las Américas.
