Blue Hole National Park & Cave Tubing Day Trip
Blue Hole National Park & Cave Tubing Day Trip
At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Placencia and drive down the Hummingbird Highway to one of the most beautiful protected areas in Belize: the Blue Hole National Park.
As soon as we arrive, we'll get kitted out in our helmets, life jackets and floats. We'll then start our exciting cave tubing activity through the caves located in the surroundings of the National Park. For around 45 minutes, you'll slide through the caves' different nooks and crannies and feel the adrenaline rushing through your veins.
After cave tubing, we'll get our strength back with a delicious lunch consisting of dishes from the Yucatan Peninsula. These dishes include exotic food products originating from this part of the Caribbean, many of which were already being cultivated in the Mayan era.
Once we've eaten lunch we'll visit the large cenote that gives its name to the Blue Hole National Park, which was considered a sacred place by the Mayans. You'll have approximately 45 minutes of free time to take a refreshing dip in this spot, which is surrounded by lush jungle landscapes.
We'll then head back to your hotel in Placencia, where we'll arrive at 4 pm.
