River Bugging in Pitlochry
River Bugging on the River Tummel in Pitlochry
After meeting at your chosen time at the entrance to the Scottish & Southern Power Company in Pitlochry, we'll head for the banks of the River Tummel. Here, we'll receive a briefing on how to use the "bugs", a combination between a raft and an inflatable chair that we'll use to explore the river rapids.
Sat on the river bugs, we'll start sailing down the Tummel and our guide will direct us through the rapids and around the rocks. Discover the beauty of Scotland's rural landscapes from a new fun perspective!
Our river bugging experience will take us down calm and peaceful stretches of the river as well as white water falls and exciting rapids - hold on tight! And if you fall off, just swim down the river until you can climb back on!
After two hours bugging on the River Tummel, we'll return to dry land and you'll be taken back to the original meeting point.
