Elqui Valley Stargazing Activity
We'll meet at the designated time on O'Higgins Street in Pisco Elqui. From there, we'll move to an area free of light pollution to enjoy a beautiful view of the sunset over the foothills of the Andes.
Next, we'll head to the natural observatory of La Isla, located on the outskirts of the town. At this remarkable location, we'll take a look through a 20-inch telescope to identify planets, clusters, galaxies, and constellations. It's an experience you're sure to remember!
The Elqui Valley is renowned for its exceptionally clear skies, making it an ideal spot for stargazing. The celestial canvas in this southern hemisphere region remains unspoiled by light pollution, ensuring we enjoy privileged views of the starry night.
The fun doesn't stop there, as we'll also have a chance to look through the largest telescope in Pisco Elqui, guaranteeing an enriching stargazing experience. And to add to the enjoyment, we'll cap off the evening with a refreshing pisco sour cocktail.
Following the astronomical observation activity, we'll provide transportation back to the meeting point in Pisco Elqui, with an estimated arrival time of approximately two and a half hours later.
