At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Rua da Praia de Pinhão dock to board a solar boat and enjoy a wonderful cruise along the Douro River.
As we sail, we'll navigate around Romaneira Point as we soak up the landscapes of the centennial vineyards that make up this area. We'll marvel at the walls of tall rock formations as some of the region's most important vineyards come into sight.
Throughout the trip, we'll enjoy a tasting of two wines produced at Adega de Favaios, one of the main wineries in this area of northern Portugal. During the tasting, accompanied by almonds, we'll learn how the wines of the Douro Valley are produced. If you wish, you can opt for fresh grape juice.
Lastly, we'll return to the departure dock to, ending the activity 1 hour later.
