At the indicated time, we'll meet at the indicated meeting point in Phoenix, we'll start our trip to Tombstone. This city was the setting for the legendary Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, an event which inspired many famous Hollywood films.
When you arrive in Tombstone, you will feel like you have been transported back to the old Wild West. We will explore the historic streets and discover the traditional Big Nose Kate's Saloon and the Bird Cage Theatre which were favorite haunts of outlaws and bounty hunters. You will also visit the Tombstone Museum and the town courthouse, where you will learn more about the way of life where shootouts happened almost every day.
Many of the victims of these confrontations are laid to rest in Boot Hill Cemetary, where, as the name suggests, they were buried with their boots on. Here, you will feel like you are in a Wild West film.
On our return to Phoenix, we will stop at the Mission of Saint Xavier of the Water, also known as "The White Dove of the Desert". Founded in 1692, it houses various artworks showing the Spanish and Native American heritage of the locality.
We'll finally return to Phoenix where the tour finishes.
