Route 66 & Grand Canyon Tour
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the meeting point in Phoenix we'll head along Route 66, the famous road that runs across the USA!
As we embark on our journey, we'll venture into the vast Sonoran desert, which is home to unique plant life, including the majestic Saguaro cactus. As we ascend, we'll see the landscape transform and the cacti give way to towering pine trees.
As we continue towards the north of Arizona on Route 66, we'll see the city of Flagstaff nestled in the heart of the Sonoran desert. Our journey will culminate at the Grand Canyon National Park.
Upon arrival at the South Rim, we'll have about 3 hours to stroll around, check out the shops, and take in the mesmerizing views of the canyon carved by the Colorado River. Did you know that this area was recognized as a World Heritage Site in 1979?
During this 3-hour stop off, we'll enjoy an unforgettable helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon to discover the South Rim! This 45-minute flight will offer you unbeatable views of the Kaibab National Forest, the Painted Desert, and the convergence of the Colorado and Little Colorado Rivers.
Finally, we'll return to Route 66 to return to Phoenix, where the tour will end after 13 hours of excursion.
