RoRo Street Art Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet on the north side of the Phoenix Center for the Arts. Here, we'll begin our graffiti tour of Roosevelt Row, better known as RoRo.

During the tour, in which we'll see over 30 murals, we'll stroll through the vibrant streets of Phoenix's artsy neighbourhood while discovering some of the city's most prominent street art.

As we admire the murals, we'll talk about history, politics and symbolism to try to decipher the artists' intentions. We'll see how they try to illustrate different current issues such as the Black Lives Matter movement, immigration and global warming.

A graffiti tour of RoRo wouldn't be complete without a visit to Carly's Bistro. This restaurant has served as a springboard for some of the country's best street artists since owner Carly gave them part of the space to paint their work. A must-see!

Finally, after a 2-hour tour, we'll say our goodbyes as we arrive back at the meeting point.
