On this guided tour of Phnom Penh, we'll take you to discover the temples and museums that tell the history of Cambodia's capital and most populated city.

Tour Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Phnom Penh to begin a guided tour in which we'll explore the Cambodian capital in 4.5 hours. Ready?

Our first stop will be at the Royal Palace, home of King Sihamoni, where we'll visit the Silver Pagoda, which is one of the main points of interest in the city because of its silver slab construction. This sacred site provides an opportunity to discover a unique part of Cambodia's history and art.

We'll continue our tour at Wat Phnom, a 14th century Buddhist temple that stands 27 metres (88 feet) high, making it the tallest religious structure in the area. The interior has an impressive central altar with a large bronze statue of a seated Buddha, surrounded by other sculptures, candles, flowers and objects of worship.

Afterwards, we'll visit one of the most awaited places of the tour: the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. We'll learn about the tragic legacy of the Khmer Rouge and the history of this period in detail, gaining a deeper insight into one of the country's darkest and harshest chapters.

Additionally, along the way, you'll have the opportunity to taste some typical products and have a coffee break.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel to say goodbye.
