Whale Watching in Phillip Island
Activity Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Rhyll Jetty to start this unforgettable adventure around the coast of Phillip Island. Are you ready? All aboard!
During the journey, we'll share some facts about the marine fauna and the region's history. We'll start looking for the majestic humpback whales and the southern right whales. You'll have the unique opportunity to see how these fascinating cetaceans behave up close, from tail slaps to elegant jumps out of the water. Keep your eyes peeled!
Plus, we'll sail toward Seal Rocks, a magical site where you'll be amazed by the amount of Australian seals that inhabit this natural environment. Did you know that the waters of Philip Island are also home to common dolphins and bottlenose dolphins? If you're lucky, you'll spot them playing and swimming next to the boat.
But that's not all—during the journey, you'll be able to see shy albatrosses and Australian gannets soaring the skies. Amazing!
After 4 hours of sailing, we'll return to Rhyll Jetty, concluding this unforgettable adventure in Philip Island.
Whale Watching
Phillip Island is a strategic place to watch whales. However, animals are unpredictable creatures. The number of species of wildlife that we'll see will depend on various factors, such as the sea currents, the weather, the wind direction, and the breeding and nesting seasons of the different species.
