Orient Bay & Marigot Day Trip
Orient Bay & Marigot Day Trip
We'll meet at the Point Blanche cruise terminal at 8:30 am and travel by comfortable bus to the north of the island of St. Martin. We'll cross the border that divides the island and go into the French part.
After a 30 minute journey, we'll reach Marigot, the capital of the French part of Saint Martin. We'll explore this small city on the west coast while learning about its history. Did you know that it was founded during the reign of Louis XVI? After strolling through its winding streets, you'll enjoy some free time for shopping in Marigot's many shops - you certainly won't leave empty-handed!
We'll meet up again and continue the tour by heading to one of the best beaches on the island, Orient Bay Beach. As soon as you arrive, you'll have one hour of free time to enjoy this little piece of paradise. Relaxing on the fine white sand that covers its coast or taking a bath in its waters is a delight.
In the surroundings, you can also taste the famous fruit juices, punch or the delicious food in the local restaurants on your own.
After spending a great day on the island's most popular beach, we'll return to the meeting point. On the way back, you can see the first church built on the island and the famous Border Monument. We'll be back at approximately 12:30 pm.
