After picking you up at your hotel at the time of your choice, we'll head north to the Quinta da Avessada winery, enjoying incredible views of the area's vineyards along the way.
Located in the municipality of Favaios, the Quinta da Avessada winery is famous for its production of muscatel wines. We'll tour its facilities to discover how this grape variety was introduced in the Douro region. Did you know that it has been cultivated here since the 19th century?
We'll visit the barrel room and enter the winery museum to learn all the details of wine production. Interactive screens, old photographs and even robots will show us the processes used to produce the most exquisite of wines.
Then, we'll enter the tasting room to enjoy a tasting of two glasses of Port wine and one of Muscatel, accompanying our drinks with a small snack consisting of cheese, jam, nuts and bread.
We'll conclude the excursion by leaving you at your hotel, three hours after the start of the activity.

This tour includes pickup from hotels in Pinhão, Peso da Régua and Lamego. Pickup will be 30 minutes to one hour before your selected time.
