Wave Rock & York Tour

At 8 am, we'll meet at the Crown Perth Hotel to begin this fascinating tour to Wave Rock and York. Are you ready to see rock formations that will leave you speechless? Let's go!

We'll drive towards Hyden, where we'll find one of the most incredible geographical features of Australia. We'll pass through the hills around Perth and head into the agricultural area of this region.

Before visiting Wave Rock, we'll stop in York, the oldest township in the Avon Valley. We'll stroll through the streets of this town while we learn about its history, closely linked to the gold rush and cattle raising. This town is also full of peculiar buildings that are sure to catch your eye!

The tour will then continue traveling along the Wheatbelt Way. We'll pass through the farming villages of Corrigin and Kondinin, which are perfect to discover the essence of the Australian outback. And, from our vehicle, we'll also see the Dog Cemetery, dedicated to man's best friend.

Next, we'll make a stop so you can have lunch on your own in a restaurant and then we'll head to our next destination: Wave Rock! You'll be amazed by the sight of these curious stone waves. Did you know that this is a sacred place for the aborigines? You'll be enchanted by its history!

And, before returning to Perth, we'll stop at Mulka Cave, the finishing touch to the tour. Inside, we'll find some cave paintings that tell an Aboriginal legend!

Finally, we'll finish the excursion back at the meeting point at approximately 8:30 pm.
