At the time you choose, we will meet up outside the Junta de Freguesia to begin a guided tour of Pernes and discover all the hidden treasures of this idyllic village.
During the tour, we will talk about the town's past. You will learn why Emperor Julius Caesar came to this town. King Alfonso I of Portugal and the famous Knights Templar have also featured in the history of this place. You will find out all about this and more!
In addition, we will contemplate the elegant facade of the church of La Misericordia, see the Clock Tower, and even taste the cakes of San Antonio, a traditional local delicacy.
After seeing a bridge designed by the French engineer Gustave Eiffel, we will arrive at the park of the Alviela River where the Mouchão waterfall awaits us. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture these amazing scenes!
