Tour Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Hotel Movich and, once we're all ready, start this tejo tour of Pereira. Let's see what the national sport of Colombia is all about!
We'll head to a tejo court, the perfect setting to discover the rules of competition. This game consists of throwing a metal disc at triangles called 'mechas' in order to make them explode—skill and aim are essential!
We'll teach you the necessary guidelines and spend an hour playing several games of this pastime practised by the Muiscas, an ancient civilisation that inhabited the Colombian high plateau more than 500 years ago!
While we have fun, we'll complete this experience with the tasting of a national beer and a typical Colombian meal, a choice between chicharrón or desgranado, made with corn kernels and stuffed with lots of cheese. The perfect finishing touch!
Finally, we'll say goodbye at the starting point 2 hours after the start of the activity.
