Interested in exploring the coast of Asturias and enjoying its stunning nature? Look no more—you're in the perfect place! At the designated time, we'll meet at the El Rincón de Pin restaurant, in Pendueles, to begin this hiking route along the eastern coast of Asturias.
Once we're ready, we'll begin this hike through a protected natural landscape that captivates all who visit. First, we'll walk through Pendueles, passing by its bowling alley, church, and Casa de Indianos. As we stroll, we'll share tons of curiosities of this charming town.
We'll continue our hike along a section of the Camino de Santiago that runs along the eastern coast of Asturias. After sharing the fascinating stories of this part of the Camino, we'll reach the Pendueles Beach Lookout. Don't forget to take a picture!
Continuing our hike, we'll walk along a path close to the sea until we reach Playa de la Pica. After a stop at this beach, we'll continue on our way to the Cobijeru Complex Natural Monument, a site of great scenic and geological value due to its karst formations and cliffs.
We'll visit its interior beach, one of the few of this style within Asturias, and see an old tide mill. Curious to know how it works? We'll show you!
On the final part of our hike, we'll pass by the town of Buelna, a perfect spot to learn about the locals' daily life and Asturian traditions. What a complete hike!
Finally, we'll return to the starting point in Pendueldes 2 hours later to finish this activity.
