Guided visit to the Interpretation Center of the Romanesque Sculpture
If you choose to book the guided tour, we'll explore together the rooms of this exhibition, of a dimension of approximately 300 square meters. The exhibits are divided into six thematic areas, in a tour that combines new technologies with unique art pieces to take you back in time and discover this astonishing art style.

The tour lasts one hour and, along with your guide, you'll visit its six exhibition rooms: Territory and Formation of Portugal, Medieval Society, The Romanesque, The Builders, Symbolism and Color, and The Monuments. A very enjoyable way to learn with the many interactive activities that you will find there.
Opening hours
The Interpretation Center of the Romanesque Sculpture in Penafiel offers guided tours at the following times:
- Thursday and Friday: from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm.
- Saturdays and Sundays: from 10 am to 1 pm.
The Lousada Interpretation Center of the Romanesque offers guided tours Tuesday to Sunday every hour from 10 am to 5 pm.
Reduced fare
There is a reduced fare for each of the ticket options for seniors over 65 and holders of the European youth card.
